OK guys got pictures of my enfields 2 of them One is the Lee Enfield #4 MK1 the other is my M1917 The Lee is on top

The No4 looks to have the stacking rod- Nice! The M1917 I have turned out to be A great shooter.. Thanks for the pictures.

The No.4 pictured is interesting as it shows exactly how the majority of the Lee Enfields purchased by Century Arms looked when they arrived from Turkey. The home made sling and the stacking bar are dead give aways. I'm curious as most of the example I've seen were made in 1943 - is yours?

As a matter of fact she is 1943. All the markings show BSA from shirley, but if you know something about this model please enlighten me She obviously sat in a warehouse for some time I really had to give her a good cleaning after I got her.If thisn model is from Turkey was she mfg in UK? She fires nice as is accurate as heck

Hey guys it's me again Take a look at the next picture (my M1917) She is a mismatch of Remington,Eddystone. The stock is in good condition, as is the bore. What is the value of these rifles today? In other words what could I ask for her if I wanted to sell or trade her

No picture? The BSA was made in England. For some reason a large number of the rifles out of the turkish batch are dated 1943 leading to speculation on why?

just a guess the later ones were in better condition than the early ? nice rifles
