This is a film made by a woman who had a homebirth following two c-sections. It's entirely made off home movies from each of her births.
It's very graphic, and very emotional. I can imagine lots of situations women here have been and how this might be a trigger for some emotional reactions. It's by no means "required viewing". If you're up for it, it's inspirational and beautiful. ...
That was so beautiful. Thanks for sharing. I started crying when she said, "I did it."
I am surprised though how much of the surgery they allowed to be filmed. Most hospitals don't allow it for fear of it being used against them in malpractice lawsuits.
I first saw this on Facebook (thank you, Grace ) and I cried. I cried hysterical-like when she said "I did it ... I'm holding my baby."
It inspired me. Big time. It also made me want to have another baby. Like... immediately.
WOW. The home birth seemed so much more relaxed and she seemed to be happier with how things went. That is the kind of thing that makes me so mad at my sisters dr. She wanted a VBAC but the told her that "her ,muscles are too weak to deliver natural and that the baby might not make it if she tries to deliver" So he basicly scared the **** out of her until she agreed to do a 2nd c-section. Mind...

44 minutes after she was born!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm in shock.
Total shock.
I can't even imagine. Isabella was pushed out and put on me before anything else could happen. No cleaning, no nothing. She was put on my chest immediately and I let her sniff around and lick my nipple. It wasn't for a good long time before they took her to be weighed and whatnot. I can't imagine ...
I know! It's very, very sad.... 6 people got to hold Ava before I did. 6!! The doctor, 2 nurses, DH, my mom, and my dad She was born at 10:27 and it was after 11pm before I was done being stapled back together and in my room. It's a terrible, horrible experience.
yeah I was 7 days late but my real problem was I had too much fluid. They didn't want my water breaking on it's own because there is a risk of the cord coming out first. I was induced for 2 days with Misty as well, she was 16 days late lol My babies never want to come out! lol I had Misty vaginally, I pushed for 3 hours.. It was no cake walk but I did it lol

I would love a VBAC next time. Though my c-section experience wasn't horrible. No one held Aaden, other than my DH. And they let me touch and talk to him for quite awhile before they took him to the nursery. I was only in recovery for 25 minutes, and nursed him as soon as I was wheeled to my room. Oh, also- I went into labor on my own. Water broke, progressed quickly. I pushed for 3 hours-in many different positions. The baby...
