Thread: trying to pick paint colors....prairie style home - tans?

I'm not familiar w/ any of those colors but this past Spring I painted my downstairs in various shades of tan and off-white and I really love the results! Except for my dark brown LR - I must repaint that. I used the following BM colors (not suggesting them for you but just an example of how well I thought it turned out): Office: Jonesboro Cream Hall: Porcelain Ivory (or Ivory Porcelain - I always forget) Both are off the same strip. I would consider adding some color to the palette, like rusts, green, gold, or something. If you're going to go with a lot of wood furniture and have quite a bit of wood in your architecture, I'd want a little color to bring it to life.
