http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId= ydz5vjt first of all i know i'm going to get a lot of crap from the stuckey fans but here you go. i'm a kings and a pistons fan, and i think this trade would benefit both teams. if you're too lazy to click the link it's detroit gets spencer hawes, beno udrih, and donte greene. sacramento gets rodney stuckey, jason maxiell, and kwame brown...

Not having him on our bench...Lamb is going to be an awesome Coach. http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=443236 7

First of all, Rip was extended PRIOR to trading Chauncey.  O WRONG.  The deal was not officially signed until AFTER the trade.  Joe game Hamilton a chance to tear up the contract... but in the end, he didn't.  Of course, who would?  He'd be crazy to turn down that kind of money, even though is boyfriend (CB) was already shipped out of town.   Can you provide some evidence here in...

rip and gordon will both be on this team for the next 2 years minimum. probably 3. i doubt anyone is going to want rip until he's in his contract year. your better off trading gordon, because rip isn't going anywhere. every team in the league has a decent 2 guard. or one their happy with. the pistons have 2. and they're the highest paid players on the team. and signed to 4 and 5 more years each....

He wants out of GS. http://realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/61345/20090 828/jackson_wants_out_of_golden_state / Would you like Dumars to try and pull off a trade to get him?     No way he would make the commitment on defense that we'd want. Or the right shot selection    we signed gordon and cv. i'm pretty sure defense and shot selection aren't very high on the criteria list. anyways. of...

Bill lands a coaching job with the Timberwolves. Now he has his foot in the door.

Bill lands a coaching job with the Timberwolves. Now he has his foot in the door.   I am too, I'm just sad it wasn't with Detroit.  I hope Kuester works out well, but if not... I wonder if Bill would accept the Pistons job in 2011-12, after not even being considered for it this time around?  I honestly hope we don't have to find out.

"For one im not a spurs fan. So your ignoring the fact that manu was out in that series? And that maybe tim duncan was worn out for having to completely carry his team the entire season?" Do you see Laker fans complaining that they didn't have Bynum healthy for this championship run? The guy was barely able to walk. Yet they SOMEHOW still won the title. And I guess you are IGNORING the fact that...

"Yeah actually i did see lakers fans complaining they didnt have bynum. I call ginobli a borderline allstar and you say im calling him jordan." Or a player who comes off the bench and gives 15 ppg. Not enough of a difference from a team that can't win more than 1 playoff game to being the best team in the league, just because they added Jefferson with Manu. When EVERY top team in the league ...

I don't believe that there are conspiracies from the league offices, but there are conflicts between officials and players that carry over from past games. Whenever Danny Crawford worked a game, it seemed like there were going to be problems for the Pistons.     There was a time that whenever Danny Crawford reffed a Pistons game, it was a guaranteed loss in the playoffs.  I think he might have had a beef with Larry Brown because I...

Big Ben is hands down the team MVP. His leadership, work ethic, effort, defense, rebounding, and even his passing are all things this team can't afford to do without. My question he's only been here 1 season do we have any sort of signing rights or do we have to spend the MLE to bring him back? Without Big Ben this team is in big trouble. Kwame will be gone as well so we're gonna have to draft a big man in the mid 1st. This...

I discount all stats per X stats. Maybe theres a reason those players dont get the playing time? Yes, there are reasons: conditioning, coaching ineptitude, foul trouble, etc. To discount "stats per x stats" is silly. Frankly, I am surprised you would. You seem to be a fairly intelligent human being.

Does that mean that we don't believe that John Gotti is a mob kingpin because the star witness was a murderous POS like Sammy the Bull?  Come on! Most conspiracies, crimes, and other despicable acts are brought down from within by the same unsavory characters that participated in them in the first place.  What witness would you lend credence to?  A catholic nun?  I'm sorry, but a nun is not going to be able to shed any light on...

We definitely have no need for Prince's slow, plodding game.  And we have plenty of guards, so Hamilton is not a necessity.  I would be exploring trade opportunities for both players.    Gordon isn't a great starter...Much better off the bench, that should be his role here as long as possible. Keep Rip, Trade Bynum and Tay..

Austin Daye's defensive IQ
Published (2009-12-11 04:22:00)
The issue isn't his defensive IQ, it's that he and Charlie V have to deal with the cross matching on the other end.  The natural instinct is to stay near the guy who guarded you on the defensive end and that's what Daye was doing.  Charlie, on the other hand, was drifting back to the man he was assigned to defensively.  That's all it was.     So doesn't that kinda make the original point since the man that was...
