Thread: toddler/big girl bed question

Is she climbing out of her bed or doing anything else unsafe to make you switch so early?? If not, whats the rush?

I wait till 2 years old to change mine to the toddler bed. Yeah I would agree if not climbing out of the crib I would see no reason to rush.

I was told if under 36 pounds and not climbing out or at risk of harming themselves dont put in?a toddler bed. Seriously, there is no rush. and if youre that worried about the transition it may not be the best time anyway.

Very soon we will be swtiching DD to a toddler bed. She sleeps well in her crib, and responded well to crying it out. I have a question though...what happens if she wakes up at like 3 or 4 in the morning and wants to get up and play? do i put her back down? Right now in her crib, i would make her cry it out. Im worried shes going to decide to get up way to early. (she normally sleeps till around 8 )
