yea. it's true. he wasn't romo's #1 target tonight. It's like Saints. Henderson and Meachem's long TDs today. Would you say they're better than Colston? I still think Austin is good but I think Williams is still the #1 receiver in dallas.
Roy E. Williams has picked up his game, his explosive days may soon be over. That said, Steve Giants Smith and Austin were my late round NFC East fliers, good scouting on my part :)
he wont be doubled with witten and williams being forced throws... esp when defenses have to respect the run game the guys huge, fast, and great after the catch. he is a top 10 stud wr, and more than making up for greg jennings slumping
roy williams didnt pick up his game....he complained and whined that he didnt get the ball and he couldnt get on the same page as romo.....and romo over looked him too much tonite.....tried squeezing him the ball in spots at times when he shouldnt have just to give him looks....miles austin was already declaired the #1 starter on this team and the way hes been playing roy isnt going to take it ...
yea. that's true. but now that he's #1. idk how he'll play with double team coverage by other teams. He's definately one of top waiver pickups this season. I would say by the end of season, he'll be top 15 wr.
naw.. it's just the miles austin owners who are making his performance better than it is. MSW is better than austin if you want to talk about waiver pickup.
Msw is not a better WR at this point than miles austin. First of all romo is a better passer than gerrard, and have a better offensive line....that helps for getting austin the ball more often than MSW Secondly...Dallas has more passing options than jax does so it frees austin to get open more often to get more looks , hence more yards, tds , fantasy points I do think that MSW has more talent and has better potential than austin right...
I'm glad Austin got me some points, and I do think he's very talented. Still, it's interesting that Romo let Williams get to him like that. He got a lot of balls thrown his way as if Romo wanted to prove nothing was wrong with their connections. I guess he proved his point and got Austin a catch as well.
Austin had one catch on a terrible bite by a notorious ballhawk. This game goes to show that Dallas can't will Austin into the game, they have to just hope he breaks one. He is fast, but I'm happy to be trading he, PT and ARod for Brees and VJax. I grabbed SteveSmith, MSW and Miles on waivers this year and the only one I regret/Miss is MSW. Miles is a flash in the pan. Romo is a chump
