Thread: tape/cd player

First off I sell parts, thats what we do, and as you see I am a sponsor of the site, so I think I am legal in asking this 2 part question here. We picked up a 94 Black and tan automatic yesterday, that has the pioneer cassette radio/ cd player in it. My son and I were kind of pleasantly surprised when we saw that. out of a LOT of cars, thats only the second one we have seen! The first one ...

I think Jeff can fix that. If it has the cover still it is worth something yes, just the cover alone should be worth $20 or $30. Brad

Last time I talked with Jeff in person about an MSSS stereo, he doesn't fix the CD player, it has to go to Pioneer. Good news is that they still rebuild the units (well they did in 2007), bad news is that it was $350+shipping to have it done Of course, that includes complete refurbishing of all components, new lights, etc.). Willy, If it is the ability to play tapes & CD's that you want, you could do a many of us have done. There was a head unit installed in many Mazdas which we have put into our cars for $100+. Mine has been in for about 1 1/2yrs now and I love it. It will take up to 6 CD's, one cassette and has a sat input. Mine came out of an 05 Tribute. It does take some wiring and dremmel work on the ...
