Last time I talked with Jeff in person about an MSSS stereo, he doesn't fix the CD player, it has to go to Pioneer. Good news is that they still rebuild the units (well they did in 2007), bad news is that it was $350+shipping to have it done Of course, that includes complete refurbishing of all components, new lights, etc.). If it is the ability to play tapes & CD's that you want, you could do a many of us have done. There was a head unit installed in many Mazdas which we have put into our cars for $100+. Mine has been in for about 1 1/2yrs now and I love it. It will take up to 6 CD's, one cassette and has a sat input. Mine came out of an 05 Tribute. It does take some wiring and dremmel work on the ...
