By far the most important thing about a driver is to play what you're comfortable with. If you've hit a regular flex your whole life and are accustomed to it, you'll probably struggle a bit at first if you switch the flex. You're sort've in the grey area where your stats would indicate either would work for you. Maybe try a shaft that's rated S but is light in weight with a lower cpm, or a R shaft that's a...

my ss is very high and i only use a stiff shaft,ss is not a major factor in flex,if you have a jerky swing i would say a stiff shaft and a smooth tempo i would say regular.

120 mph is an attainable driver ss.

I would say i have quite a quick swing with driver! my takeaway and follow through can be quite fast at times! On my old r7 limited driver i had 10.5 deg regular matrix x-con shaft in it and was more consistent than when i got it re shafted with stiff flex v2 shaft!! different pros and custom fit tell me i need stiif and others say regular!! ive hit different ones now and im so so confused!!!! Every other day i post things about drivers!!!

Mazza 78, Advice from the last two golf pros I worked with: If control isn't a problem, go with regular flex. As your swing improves, you will pick up extra yards in distance.

i just clocked my swing speed the other day @ 92 mph, I bought a driver with a stiff shaft.
