Thread: stripped screw hole

well i got a dm6 with a stripped screw hole not the screw but the threads on the body what do i do

depends on were it is.. wat hole is stripped?

the left side on the body where the screw is to retain the eyeplate

hmm that's bad man. if it was where the grip was you could have wrap the screw with a small piece of aluminum foil then screw it in that works but i don't think you can do that on the eye plate.

just put everything together and put a big sticker over it the eye plate and conecting to the body... or put a dab of HOT GLUE.. nothing else on the body and eye plate so it doesn't come off but can b easily removed.

Get a longer screw.. usualy screws holes are drilled and tapped deeper than they need to be.. find out the specifics of the screw, then replace it with a longer one.. or you could go the harder more dangerous route.. if you are really hell bent on having that screw in there.. drill it out a little wider and tap it for a larger screw.. but I would not recommend that.
