Brilliant, stunning... congratulations
By the way, I have evidence of a 1:1 Gulf P962:
Probably a repaint by the owner, as I don't think it ever raced officially in Gulf livery, but does anyone know where and when this picture was taken?
Regards
Maurizio
Hi Maurizio,
I do believe that it is a repaint, also it looks like a 956 High Tail. I contacted Gunner Racing's Kevin Jeanette, to ask him if the was such a Porsche that had actually raced. I will let you know if he ever get's back to me. By the Rainer those cars are totally awesome.

Here the reply from Kevin Jeanette,
Dear John,
Why do you need to know......who cares!!!
Just Kiddin, I don't think Gulf ever sponsored a Gulf Livery 956-962.
I have know no Idea when the photo was taken, nice car though I wouldn't mind painting one in Gulf livery myself.
Kevin
Fantastic work Rainer!
I did a quick image search and found nothing on the Gulf 962. Here's a thought Maurizio, why not offer a few decal sets of some liveries that you will never do to go along with the white kits?

This is Porsche 956B. I believe it is chassis 156B-113 one of the last 156 chassis'. Car is owned by Franz Pretorius of South Africa and for '07-'08 ran with the original Trust sponsorship as during it's heyday in the Japanese Sports Prototype Series. He, like many, wanted a Gulf car so when he bought the car in '03 that's what he went with.

I'm always amazed at the information you can learn here just by asking.
Rainer, your cars are gorgeous and very well done. Do you have any tips or tricks to share other than inhuman amounts of patience? ...

Some very nice liveries.
About the Eterna car... have you sealed it yet? The reason I ask is that the original decal maker made a couple omissions when they created the sheet. There should be a...

Being OBSESSIVE is a Great Title when it is for such a wonderful creation such as yours! I love the Porsche 956/962C Cars. Ferrari has been my favoite for since I was a kid...but the Porsche 956/062C cars are just amazing to drive on a Slot car track...They look so scale/real...and they aren't even as detailed as yours! Very Awesome work!!! Thank you for sharing. Thank you for doing so great work... I read about the VW and Porsche...
