Have a look around on acuralegend.org or even post up on there iv found it to be better when iv had problems and the people are very helpfull most moved from here and no longer are on this site. Is this is whats wrong with your car ? How did it go at the mechanics, they find anything?

OL-Original Legend 1988 replied 3 months ago
the mechanic doesnt do transmisions, he sent me to a automatic trans specialist. the car is there now, they are running some diagnostics. hope it wont be too expencive

Goodluck ...

im never selling it.... i was however thinking to get another beat up sh!t box and let the legend rest a bit, while i save up money for the repairs. or i might just fix it in the next couple of weeks.

You say he tranny has metal particles in it and also ask about cleaning the selonoids. Use the search function and try cleaning the selonoids now that the car is down, sounds like a good cleaning may take care of alot of your problems.

Total job time was about 6 hours. the hardest part was getting the air intake ducts off. The cleaning itself was no more than one hour. Also there is a fellow who posted how to clean ...
