Thread: so how many of ye stick to a program?

so how many of ye stick to a program? lately instead of doing a fixed program,i usually do the same amount of sets every week for chest or back or whatever im doing that day but mix up the exercises, anyone else do it this way?

I stick to one thing until it stops working. I don't know how you can accurately keep track of progress switching things so often.

My program is written out. I have specific movements to perform each session, and there's not that many of them. The important part is the progression scheme. Progress or die, is my mantra. Different parts get different schemes, depending on what is a priority. Some work a Reg Park style 5x5, while others get a 3x8-10. I do. I am very proud of my excel spreadsheet, it contains my diet, body weight and programs (past and present)

i still make progress bro,like lets just say for triceps dips/cgbp/skullcrushers the next week i might do cgbp/cable pushdowns/seated dips

I'm always very organized with my weight lifting. Make routines that go for a certain amount of weeks, track your progress. Make a graph if you must. When you see a plateau coming, try and change things up.
