Thread: (small) changes you would like to see implemented
Started 1 month, 2 weeks ago by Verengor
What small changes (I'm not talking about new content, only about small changes that would improve the current content) would you like to see?
My list:
- Add a restart option to every dungeon once all players have left the instance (no more reforms if you fail an adventure or someone entered on the wrong difficulty)
- Once you've been to a questgiver/quest you can jump directly ...
Nice idea, there are many ways Turbine could implement tiny changes which would make DDO a far more polished and User friendly game.
A Few more :
1.. On the character select screen, show Raid timers on each alt.
2...On the Patron screen show over each quest the difficulty done. I.e New Invasion 1/0/1
3...On the Chat Channels, to be able to see who's online.
4...When ...
To be able to bind an alias to a key and/or quick launch button (useful for dialogue that you need to repeat often, like "hug for haste", "Stop! Trap!" and of course "It's Belo's fault.")
- Complete removal of mnemonic potions, with a rebalance of quests to boot. No more just resource'ing your way through stuff. Then again, what would they sell in the shop?
- Removal of anything but fluff from the shop, except of course quests, races and classes.
- Removal of stupid high favour requirement. Just give us the few bloody things you manage to make each year.
See, less ...

GIVE ME BACK MY OLD SKILL WINDOW OR PUT RANKS BACK ON THE NEW ONE!!!!!
Prioritise items....ie use up all cure light pots then load cure mod or all +1 arrows then +2 or my lesser banes then greater banes.
Make stuff stack no matter what inventory tab you stick it into or even if you holding it in your hand. Tired of 3 stacks of pots And to lazy to sort it ...
Lots of great suggestions above.
Something that would be nice - in the Inspect box you get up when looking at someone, add a collapsible section to see all alt names of the player. With possible 14 characters on each account it's often a chore to know who's who. Add an option to inactivate this if you like your alts to be unknown, and make this toggle for each character, not ...
forgot to add something:
- Place a teleport from the the foothold to the twilight forge once you've been there (like tod). Maybe remove the teleport location from the teleport spell.
- Let people teleport to meridia from the twelve once you've been in meridia or let people run through the vale while they are in a raid party but slayers/explorers/rares don't count.
add an option to convert any armor into the corresponding DT armor, loosing all values in the process and getting the ones of a clean DT armor.
alternatively give us what you have in ddo: 1 armor set for the stats and 1 armor set that's displayed
* More bank space
* Get rid of the damn targeting
* when I take a teleport from the new NPc's, can you please send my weapons too
* A notice to say when you move from light to medium encumbrance
* Up the drop rate for demon blood and artefact.

let potions/scrolls/wands you put on your shortcutbar point to item type and not that specific stack, show total number of items, use up smaller stack first and dont remove icon if item reach zero.

I'd like the damage numbers to appear on my screen even for tall monsters. For large enemies you can't always see the numbers above their heads unless you reposition the camera all the time. On some shroud portals the numbers get obscured by scenery.
