So I've been a member for a little over a year. I was really on track the first 6 months and lost about 17lbs!! Then I started using the website as a recipe provider and a weight tracker. Now....I hadn't logged on for a couple months and have realized I've gained almost 8 pounds of the 17 pounds I had lost! I'm depressed, LAZY, unmotivated and afraid that I will not be able to get ...
I sure can.I am a Lifetimer who lost 42 pounds. I'm eating the same..but I have gained 7 pounds over the last couple of months that won't budge...no matter what I do. I'm eating healthier than ever, but it's like my body is rebelling and wants the weight back. I've kept this weight off almost 3 years. I hope someone out there can give some pointers to get the scale moving downward ...
I can definitely relate and I think most of us have found ourselves in that position, but it is just about realizing that the YOU have control over your actions, the power is all in you to sculpt your future and make the best you ever. Try to stay in the moment with this for now, move from moment to moment, meal to meal, and be aware and proud of every little accomplishment. Dont focus...
Are you using all your daily points and your weekly points allowance?? Are you getting a bit more excerise or less or staying at the same place??
Our bodies go into "starvation mode" if we are only using the daily points. Your body is trying to hold onto all that it can because it thinks that doomsday is upon it... by using some of your weekly points allowance you should be able to...
Same here, since Oct I lost about 21, then regained this summer almost 7! Now it has started to come off as of last week, I did walk more, and tried to journal more, but I still believe it was a bit of a plateau. Formerly I would have quit. I also personally feel that I do better when I eat plain simple meals and not too many casseroles, even if they are WW recipes. Kind of like what ...
Motivation can come from many sources. For me, it was a cardiac arrest last year. I stopped fooling around and got back on track. You don't want to wait until you become ill to make the changes.
Sounds harsh, but you know what's wrong. So get on with doing it right. If you keep waiting, you will put on all the weight you lost and then some. I know...I've been there. Don't ...
One of the things I learned on this journey is that I don't loose weigh fast during the summer months. So when June started, I gave myself a 5 pound goal to loose between June 1 and September 1.
Look at your trackers. Look at each day from 3 months ago. Highlight wins and losses. Did you follow GHG? Are there any patterns? Do they look dull? Is it the same food every week?...
Are you still working the plan, weighing or measuring portion size and tracking your food? I know after I hit lifetime everytime I thought I could do it without these things the weight started to creep back.
