Started 1 month ago by grateful fisherman
I have been reading a lot lately about the growing popularity of slip bobbering for walleye. Have any of you had success with this technique in Lake St. Clair? I have been thinking about trying it this spring with live minnows, leeches n crawlers in the areas i have had success trolling for them in the summer. i'll most likely launch at end of s. river road and set up drifts around north channel ...

Hello there Im new today 8/31/09 and I just got a little fishing boat I found in a garage sale. Is it too late to fish Walleyes in the SCR I live right by the Blue Water Bridge ? The only equipment I have is for chugging 2 lures or drifting crawlers at nite ... I see the other boats all aroung the mouth of Lake Huron but they all troll. Do I have a chance to catch some eyes?

Welcome to the site Dagg. With a boat a couple lures and some crawler harness' I'd say you stand a very good chance of catching a couple walleye.

Yes...next to. It is/was next to the Tiara dealer. Lakeside Tiara, Pro Fish (Jones) and Metro Marine are all on the West side of Jefferson. Beacon Cove, Hideaway Harbor and the DNR ramp are on the East side of Jefferson.
