Thread: should conner have all his powers NOW?

Started 1 month, 2 weeks ago by 2177stephens
SoY,black zero,ToT have all shown conner being very powerful, like kryptonian powerful,so should he have all the powers he doesnt have now,NOW? those are TK blasts, force fields, mentally moving things without touching them, super breath, and microscopic vision. is he being cheated by not allowing him to use them now while he is still superBOY? also should he be fully ...

I'd rather they blossom slowly through the context of his stories (like maybe, his own book?)

Yeah, no sense in making him more powerful than Superman right now. He's got to grow into that.

Not only power but a proper costume as well. As much as like the the t-shirt and jeans shtick ...... it's time for Connor to get to the next level and embrace the Superman heritage more fully.

conner isnt as powerful as a krytponian kid his own age and size, but thats all im asking for.i dont want him to be as powerful as superman now either, but him being a teenager, and shown to be smaller than clark is,means he wont be as powerful as him, just as powerful as a teenage clark. questions should conner be as powerful(in his own way) as a teenage clark? would ...

Question: If Superboy's Lex Luthor genes were yanked out and replaced by Lois Lane's ..... what would we get?

how old was clark when he got all his powers? isnt conner already getting his powers WAY slower than clark did? if conner is close to a kryptonian in power imo its because of his TTK being used with his K power.his TTK mimics strength, invulnerability, flight, and thats what i think we are already seeing.the only thing we havent seen is conner using TK without touching ...

Back in the 90's, it was said that Clark didn't start getting his powers until he was almost a senior in high school. I think that's been retconned to a more Smallville(TV series)-friendly origin, though. See: Superman: Secret Origin.

doesnt clark in secret origins look about 13? i do think conner is progressing more like birthright clark, but isnt now the right time to be getting all his powers? i would like to see conner on a level playing with other teen kryptonians, now instead of years from now when he isnt a boy,and now is riding high right now.

kryptonians and humans are two different species, and humans are totally powerless,so you really cant use the mom/dad comparison it wouldnt fit with this. besides keeping the kryptonian DNA from going bizarro, and being a vessel for his TTK powers, the human side of him doesnt bring anything else to the table. he has superspeed now,at what speed or level who knows. i think him being as powerful as kryptonian teens would be cool, and having full...

Thought it was funny that he could do something like that in the SNES Death and Return of Superman game, but not in the comics! Really, he...

Yeah he's much faster since his Kryptonian powers kicked in. He's able to catch up with Bart Allen in the Teen Titans run.

He's supposed to be every bit as powerful as Clark was at that age, and maybe more. Clark as a kid had powers, but they weren't as developed due to his being younger and having had absorbed less solar energy than he did as an adult. It has been shown numerous times that as Superboy hits adulthood he surpasses Superman or any kryptonian. Personally I'd get over the whole vulnerabiliity angle the company stifles over. Sometimes...
