well I was on youtube and I typed halo 4 and I found a halo 4 trailer and be sides on halo 3 the legendary ending the master cheif doesn't die. [Edited on 10.24.2009 9:42 AM PDT]

No. The series will not be advanced beyond the ending of Halo 3. I expect 343 to make all kinds of prequels, but I don't think any real "Halo 4" will be coming out.

That Halo 4 trailer you saw was probably fan made or something. Bungie is still working on Reach, so they wouldn't do anything with Halo 4 yet. 343 will most likely make Halo 4 (if there is going to be one).
