Wow, this could open up an interesting can of worms... Short answer is, "there is no best tuner, as long as you go with one that knows what they're doing." Are you talking about canned tunes, or custom written tunes? Have you read the sticky in this section? Questions About "TUNES"? Read This! I have an 09, and everyone seems to say to hold out for the Edge Evolution. I am leaning towards it because it not only does programing (which I'm not into yet), but it also provides a 4 way digital display of engine readings (ie rpms, manifold temp, etc). They haven't released an 09 F150 one yet (only 250 and above), but the rep I talked to said it's should be out before Xmas.

I've been running the SCT Xcal3 custom tuned by VMP Tuning and I'd highly recommend it. I had the Edge before this and it was horrible, IMO. The way the transmission shifted wasn't right and the driveability didn't seem that good.
