Thread: series 2 jza 80 mirrors

Hi all iv recently fitted my garnador mirrors and as such am getting rid of my old ones. there off a series 2 rz so they are the electric folding type . freshly sprayed in 202 black chasing $200 ono for both as I have no idea what there worth. pm me here regards kimmy.

^^ Bargain! I know one of the US guys paid a LOT more than that for mirrors and switch. Actually a handy upgrade for two reasons. 1. You can fold the mirrors in when you park (out of harms way, with a reversing relay you can hook this in to your alarm) and 2. You can flick the switch when theres a 4x4 behind you at night to stop the headlights reflecting into your eyes! (Handy at traffic lights)

My car is a '94 Aero NA and i am 99% sure mine are JDM folding ones as standard too... didn't have time to test them, the folding mechanism is broken and the motors kept whirring and mirrors were falling off lol, i replaced wid Genuine Ganadors too, how sexy are they! GL wid da sale mate, $200 is a great price

can these be retrofitted on a non-folding soop?

Doink...short answer is yes they will bolt on exactly the same. If you want the folding function to work, you will need to get a fold switch (ex-Supra is best as its easiest) and then wire it up (really easy, two wires to each mirror from the switch, and two wires +&- to the switch) I have done a wiring diagram for a couple dudes in the USA that fitted the foldings to USDM non-folding cars...its ...
