Hello, The SES light came on last night for the third time on my Maxima 5-gen at ~ 95K. This occurred couple of times over the year, stayed on for couple of weeks, and eventually cleared by itself. Replace the sensors, or use sims: O2 Simulator Installation - Maxima Forums then reset/clear the codes, do a bit of driving and see if they reappear.

DigitalB, Thanks much for the comprehensive information on O2 replacement, and the resolution provided via the link your have included. However, I have cold foot on working around faulty sensors by installing simulator at this point, mainly because today I have had another reoccurrence of the sudden increase in rmp at low speed while barely touching the gas (heard the tires squealing for a ...

Replace the sensors, or use sims: O2 Simulator Installation - Maxima Forums then reset/clear the codes, do a bit of driving and see if they reappear.
