Thread: remington 1100 magnum wont cycle 2 3/4"

you can really bargain hunt at some of the local gun shows. I`ve seen them in person for as low as 65 out the door.

I was looking at a nice 1100 LT20 just the other day but saw that it said "Magnum" on it so I decided I would check it out before I purchased. And after reading this I am glad I did! I really just want to shoot 2 3/4 shells, not 3". But am I correct in saying there is no difference in the frame size but only barrel sizes for post '77 1100s? It is merely the barrel and piston sleeve/rings that allow you to shoot...

jimsunder90, Do you have any idea what that little barrel shortening episode cost you? The fact that you had a factory 32" Remington magnum barrel is rare enough in itself. That barrel was easily worth $350 prior to it being shortened. Now it isn't worth worth spit. bpshooter

Pm me and i'll gladly ship it out for $350...
