hi , i have had my car remapped by a company called eco power tuning , and not to sure if i have a poor remap or a problem with the car , when starting the car for the first time that day it is reluctant to rev above 2500rpm , and hesitates , to clear this i have to hit full throttle and it wheel spins a lot , also it seems to go better when on half throttle than on full throttle , also can ...
That doesn't sound good. Please don't tell me you are revving it above 3000rpm when it's cold?
I think you need to put the car back to standard to see if that helps, and if there is a problem, remedy it before having the map put on/redone.
Well, if these faults appeared at the same time the remap was done then I think there is a good chance that the remap is responsible for your problems. TBH I would get the car back to standard ASAP and I'd drive it as little as possible in the meantime.
Take it back to the remappers - it sounds as if something has gone wrong and if it was OK before the remap but not after then the remap is a strong candidate for the problems.
Everybody makes mistakes sometimes - they could have loaded an incorrect map. Get it back to standard, check it's all OK and then get it re-mapped. It may need a couple of days back & forth to check with a cold engine...
Does seem to point to the remap given the timing, but also sounds a bit like a dodgy MAF - one to consider maybe but probably not.
Defo get the map taken off and put the car back to standard.

Personally I wouldnt trust anyone that has a list of so called dealers with just mobile numbers and no sign of a real address anywhere on the entire website.
I take it they did a flash remap with no dyno testing and poor quality files downloaded from the net for £50 and written with a flash tool. I see this type of ...

Oh dear… "We also cater for people who tow and need more torque than bhp so your not having to change up and down gears so often." You didn't get this one did you?: Full Race every thing is maxed out purely for the petrol heads. Get them to put it back to standard post haste
