Why not just get a WRT54GL since you like the v4 very much?

fullerms replied 3 months, 2 weeks ago
Is the WRT54GL still available in SG? If so, where and how much?

not sure how much is a wrtg54 but i juz got a buffalo wnr834 for 97 from fuwell. took me <1 hour to unpack, flash with dd-wrt and configure to work as repeater bridge. now testing stability before i do a permanent setup in my room. so far so good :-) dang, i should have bought this unit instead of d-link dir-655. half the price and with dd-wrt, so many rich features!

Final conclusion guys. Bt speed will never be the same as before. ISP must have done something to it. And some of you may have alr come across the article about the ISP will terminate your contract if you dl movies ....etc 3 warnings would be given. so maybe the speed limiting is the first move..

IMPORTANT If any of the above is not fulfilled, it will be rejected by D-Link Authorised RMA Centre and you may visit D-Link’s Service Center should you need to do a replacement.

i didnt ask for a moral analysis. i have my reasons and we are all adults, 'not kids' and 'not for gaming'. Please be a bit mature when addressing my issue. Its nothing to do with 'oh i paid for it you cannot play'. While i generally gave an explanation as to why i wanted to set it up and the reasons, there are deeper issues which i dont feel free to discuss publicly. I just gave a simplified explanation as to...
