Hi- It's been a while since I posted here but I know many of you from the IVF board last year.  Hoping you can help... I am 3dp 3day transfer of 3 embryos.  My doctors office just called to tell me the other four didn't make it to freeze.  I am really sad and trying not to see this as hopeful for the ones they transferred since last year none made them to freeze and I still got pregnant. ...

Hi and welcome back! Congrats on the successful transfer. I totally understand how it's easy to doubt everything while in the TWW. Even something simple would become this huge non reassuring sign...when it was nothing at all! Anyway, don't worry about your left over embies not making it to freeze. Remember, your uterus is THE BEST place for embies to grow and thrive. The little petri dish...

When I got PG with our second DD our first was 19 months old (20 months when I got the BFP) and not mobile. She has developmental delays and didn't crawl until she was 2 or walk until she was almost 4. I was a SAHM, so I didn't have a choice when it came to lifting her. Before one of my transfers I asked my RE why they only recommend 24 hours of bedrest when their instructions say that ...

Ladies You are so right and I can't thank you enough.  In my heart I know that losing the embryos which did not freeze is not indicative of success for the implanted ones.  The nurse at the surgical center told me both years "We put in the varsity team and we try to freeze the jv so if the jv doesn't make it, that's no reason to think the varsity won't."  My son is proof positive of this ...

Here's how our cycle went -- I was also extremly disappointed when we only had 1 of 5 make it to freeze on day 6.  We had transferred 2 on day 5.  The day of ET I took it very easy.  DH did everything and I would lay on the floor to play with my then 9.5 month old DS.  The next day I still stayed home from work, but was up and about more plus I picked up DS multiple times. We eneded ...

Hang in there- you are definitely not out of the running for a BFP. I had a similar cycle-- we had 7 really good embryos on ET day.  We decided to transfer 3 and were planning to freeze 4.  The next day I got a call saying that the remaining 4 didn't make it.  I was devastated.  I thought for sure that meant our cycle didn't work.  I cried for days and started researching adoption because we...

Hi! Welcome back to the board! During my IVF I had a similar experience--we had 12 good embies, then by day 3 only 3 of them had made it; we transferred 2 and froze 1. I cried for days thinking about all of the embies that didn't make it and figured that there was no way I could get PG. My DD is 10 months old now. It sounds like that happened to you the 1st time. I know the whole process is ...
