Thread: question on wording for xmas greeting :)

Started 1 month, 3 weeks ago by DebGo
i know it's a bit early, but i am thinking of my xmas card picture and know what i want to send, but am looking for a "catchy" phrase to go with it! here is recap of what picture will be: i have a cool old fashioned wooden sled. picture will be with my 2 DD's (7 & 5) either on our back lawn (green) or at our local beach sitting on/with sled -- i live in sunny san diego....

if you do the shot on the beach, how about "Wish They All Could Be California Christmases" OK christmases looks a little funny; but I think a spin on the California Girls song might be cute.

Jimmy Buffett sings "Christmas in the Caribbean' - maybe there is something you can use there. It's Christmas in the Caribbean Snowbirds fill the air It's Christmas in the Caribbean Lots of presents everywhere We don't live in a hurry Send away for mistletoe It's Christmas in the Caribbean Got everything but snow Lights are blowing in the palm trees Stockings ...

How about changing the words around to White Christmas... Something like... "I'm dreaming of a bright Christmas..." on the front, and then "without a flake of snow in sight..." on the inside.

If I copied a picture of the shirt from the towns Website, would that make me a shirt lifter?
