well, because the names go with styles. Giraud is his real name, and he uses this for his blueberry work, his commercial mainstream work. (which is solid, but I'm just not a big fan of the western stuff... great brushwork though) Moebius is the pseudonym he adopted in the late 60s I believe, and his thing was; everything drawn as moebius would be experimental and new, trying out stuff, etc. ...
