Thread: picked up a walther "bond-james" ppk/s fer a steal

yep had my eye on one of these fer a while now. list out about $605 bucks. gunbroker sometimes has some deals as well as gunsamerica if urine quick on da trigger finger to "BUY IT NOW"! smith and wesson took over for the past importer interarms. now made at smith and wesson factory here in u.s. SO JUANCE AGIN I STIMULATED DA ECONOMY! in case none of you are aware the q.c. on smith...

Good luck with that. If there really was a James Bond and he really did have a PPK, there would have been only one Bond movie. He would be dead. I've had a a PPK-S and a PP. Both were the most unreliable guns I have ever owned. Don't stake your life on it. They jam constantly.

I had one of those SS made in America Walther 380 PPk jobbies...paid $310 for it....

thats why in the next hour my son and i are going shooting. once again slam a bunch of different flavors thru it and see what flavor it likes. already read a bunch of articles on these from various writers. thay are finicky eaters of ammo. federal was the "food" of choice that all articles liked. going now for a search of used stainless sig sauer p-232 in .380. why? cuz i can and what the ...

My next gun will be a Walther PPK/S... I'm going to the range to shoot my new (to me) Sig P226 in .40S&W and .357Sig right after lunch today...

I was under the impression that a wheel gun was preferred for CCW

I have a stainless Sig P232 .380. It's a purty little thing esp. with the Nill wood grips, but of course it is a bit heavy and large for its 'wimpy' caliber and it is not terribly pleasant to shoot. I think the term typically used is "snappy". However it has been accurate enough and extremely reliable thus far so I would trust it to do its job if ever called upon.
