Hey all Am feeling better today. About to do some bulk cooking and freezing which always chills me out and Finn is in nursery today so I can have a nap this afternoon. One thing that did help after having DS was to chat to other mums. I went along to the local NCT group (although it's a nightmare getting out initially). It was just a relief to chat to other mums with the same problems and ...

ha ha, i cant believe its september!!! lol!! our babies are due next month!!! im feeling a mixture of feelings right now, like i sooo cant wait to meet this LO and find out sex etc, but i think im actually terrified as i will have a new born baby which is all mine (and dh's!)!! im also nervous about the birth (my cousin and his girlfriend had a stillborn and im terrified of that happening to me)...

Ive gone into 'baby is due any time now' mode. I fully expect my baby to be early as my other two were as well, so I am expecting a september baby. My last labour was quite quick so my main fear now is will I get to the hospital on time and how will I get there if dh isn't around. Have to drop the girls off at my mums first. So need to start planning. My hospital bag is packed and ready to...

Hi Jen DS1 started school this year, there were tears from a few kids on the first day. There was one boy who really did struggle and he was still in floods of tears each morning by about wk 3. His mum stopped bringing him in the end and his dad was able to drop him off without the guilt/sympathy that he got from mum, he was "cured" within a week. [I ignored it and tried to not give it ...

sleeping purt???
Published (2009-12-11 12:10:00)
Hello Just wanted to join in this thread re BF-ing and sleeping.? My LO is now sleeping 4 - 5 hours per night, usually 9 or 10 PM to 1 - 3 AM.? Last night he slept from 10 PM to 3.45 AM.? I am exclusively BF-ing.? The only way I can explain this - and I DON'T want to jinx MYSELF - is that he cluster feeds a lot in the afternoon and evening.? He is, I think, stocking up for the night by doing this.? Therefore he might feed half-hourly...

Trouble getting baby to sleep at...
Published (2009-12-07 17:13:00)
Im not sure if Halle sleeps too much in the day but she pretty much wakes, feeds, has a bum change, a play and then back to sleep. She's generally awake an hour tops before her next nap and frequently naps for a good 2 or 3 hours each time lately. Im not concerned because shes gaining weight and seems really happy, although when we get to about 7/8 o clock she gets really unsettled, I feed her and bathe her, we do a bit of massage and...

Anna You need to get out no matter what, little ones will be fine so long as they are well wrapped and protected form wind and rain! I have an ivill friend who lives in Iceland, and a good friend who used to live in Sweden, both very cold places, snow & ice for quite a few months of the year (not the smattering we get) and life goes on no matter how deep the snow! Yes they have pram adaptions to cope better with deep white stuff, they...
