If you have the photos on Photobucket, all you need to do is click your cursor in the box next to the "IMG Code" label. Then right click and select copy. Now paste what you copied into your post. This will not be an attachment. The photo will appear directly in your post.

The Off Topic page doesn't work correctly for me. After I log on, it doesn't start with the first post, and when I post, it doesn't go to the first page. I have to scroll and hit Desending posts to even see what I posted, then I see where I had 6 replies but only my post shows, not the replies. I did not change any settings....

I'm not sure if I completely understand you, but in the UserCP section, go to Edit Options and then find the Thread Display Mode and make sure it is set to "Linear - Oldest First" - as shown in the picture below:
