I just bought an 07 FJ with 62,000 miles; great shape and I did not worry about longivity (my mechanic checked it out for me). 3'' lift, leather seats, roof rack, brush gard, BF Goodrich ATs, Rock rails, Viper Security, Satelllite Radio, GPS with backup camera, AT Traction, 4X4. I formerly owned an 83 Landcruiser and a 91 Landcruiser. Both vehicles proved to be very tough offroad. Now ...

Welcome. I've not had trouble with my '07 floor mats ever wanting to move on me. I have two hooks per mat, do you? Again, welcome.

Yes welcome to the forum. I have been very pleased with the hooks (2 years this month). My wife's VW Jetta has mats that snap down on posts on the floor. They're horrible. We've replace the mats a couple of times, they don't stay put and the plastic "grommets" they come with just rip through the fabric. what specific issues are you having with them? The toughness issue? I have never ...

Congrats on your barely used Fj! I think it will perform well and hold up in the mountains as I have plenty more miles on mine and I like to push it to the extremes. You may want to do a few mods to enhance the performance in a rugged terrain if thats what your intended use will be. Mild 3" lift, 285/70/17 A/T paws and maybe some Skids for belly protection. This would definately give you the ...

It's a great truck ..... check out the tech section on this forum for great help on mods and even some maintenance...... one you may want to consider doing soon to your FJ is this( Maintenance Tech Idler Pulley Problem Solved...) ..........
