hi there, I was so happy and excited when I found this forum . I am moving to Switzerland in 3 months and I am very exited about that(and afraid in the same time ). I found here so much useful information about job and living in Switzerland. I have a 8 months old daughter and I am married for swiss guy. I have no friends, no family, no job in Switzerland so I was hoping that maybe here I could...

Welcome to the Forum. I can well imagine you being both exited and a bit afraid of this new stage in your life. There are loads of posts in here about other people's experiences - I suggest you avoid 'Complaints Corner' for the first couple of months. Most of us like to let off steam somewhere but reading too many posts there gives a newcomer the impression that we stumble from ...

Welcome! I'm an American myself and my very first impression of Switzerland was wonderful. I'm not sure what the complaint corner says, but I know that just about everyone goes through that phase once in a while. After I went through my complaining phase I wrote this post called The Bright Side of Switzerland Welcome and I hope all goes well.

Same as me too.. my BF is also Swiss and we will be getting married in December. What about you? I will be moving to Chur... it is very exciting! Welcome to the forums... I've found the people very nice and helpful so far

Welcome to the Forum. I can well imagine you being both exited and a bit afraid of this new stage in your life. There are loads of posts in here about other people's experiences - I suggest you avoid 'Complaints Corner' for the first couple of months.
