Thread: new ball eating problem

Up till last week she was a great eater. now she strikes at mouse and either misses the mouse or strikes but does not hold mouse if that makes sense. Will do it several times then will go away like I am not interested anymore. This is something new it started last week when I tried to feed it a small rat and it started this eating problem then but went back to a mouse and still has this new ...

Only advice that I have that has worked for me personally and I know has helped another person on here. That it put your snake and the mouse together in a smaller than usual enclosure and cover it a small box , plastic tub etc. Check back in 30 min. Should be eating. Like I said im no expert but it has worked for me. Go Eagles LOL

Examine your snakes mouth for cuts, broken teeth, substrate stuck in teeth, etc. To ensure there are no issues keeping him/her from completing the grab.

How do I do that? His head is still kind of small are there teeth easy to see? sorry to sound stupid but I do not want to hurt it
