So far I have found this problem exists on 13 clients and I keep finding more and more. When I called Ahsay about it at midnight my time last night their secretary told me they were at lunch and would have to call back. They never did. When I called them this morning to follow up on it they told me again that they would call back in another hour. They still haven't and that was 15 ...

May I clarify who was the secretary that had told you all support staff were at lunch and unavailable? Furthermore, looking into the ticket PUG-528401. We see that you had contacted us via LiveChat, and we had created a ticket (PUG-528401) in attempt to request for more details / login credentials to the AhsayOBS console. We shall further assist you once we have the details and access....

To customize 5.2.8.0, simply select "AhsayOBM" or "AhsayACB" from the drop down list on the customization portal. Please be aware that it is not possible to brand AhsayOBS until 5.5.0.0.

Can you try running a chkdsk on the affected drive (e.g. C:\) on the client machine to see if there is any error to be found? Please also check on the Event Viewer on the client machine to see if there are more information to be found. Thanks.

if i ever get this fixed, i will post the resolution here. i have tickets submitted but so far nothing useful has come of it. what is interesting is that if i remove the idx files , rebuild the user folder, and implement CDP, CDP works just fine.

Interesting but fair enough. Would be interested to see the outcome of this. We are holding off on the upgrade, and look forward to when it is stable!

I am glad we did not decide to adopt 5.5.5.x just yet. Again there seems to be all sorts of different errors that show up in a client's backup report that they should NEVER see. The client should NEVER see anything relating to issues on the server side. ONLY things that are wrong with their backup set configuration/actual backup should be reported. The client should NOT be told the OBS shutdown abnormally... Nor that there was problems...
