I am wondering if netflix is worth it thru the winter. I dont rent many movies but occasionally we like to or for Ods. We have those red box movie rentals at grocery store but do they have kids movies all the time? Does anyone know if that is a one day rental? I dont have pay channels on cable, never used them or a Dvr either.
I was using blockbuster, I got the rewards club for $10 for a year...
We use Netflix and love it. We do not have cable so we watch movies alot. We get two discs at at time for 13.99 a month. IT is worth it. We also watch movies online. My dd loves watching them on the computer.
I think they usuallly have the first month free so you can see if it works for you
I also use paperbackswap.com You list books you have and then you earn credits when ...
We do the cheapest Netflix plan that allows streamlining (1 disk at a time). It is less then $10 a month. I like that there are no late fees. Sometimes we don't have time to watch it, so if it sits here a week, then it is no big deal. We streamline a lot since we don't have cable too (we watch it on our regular TV).
I'm not sure about Redbox. I know it is $1 a rental, but since we watch ...
thanks. book swap is nice, but since I have usualy used library or borrow from ppl, I dont have any to swap. We dont have many thrift stores(or any that I can think of- a few clothing consignments is all)
I am not sure, a monthly payment for possible a movie a month seems like a waste(we rent less then once per month but may get a kids movie and oen for us). Does anyone know the cancelation ...
I started out on redbox, it was good for camping. It was $1/day.
Now, my boss has me hooked on netflix. I pay the $16/mo. and get 3 dvd's at a time, access to movies via computer and xbox360. I really like it and it has just about any movie you can think of. I quit buying Baby Einstein and just rent them for DD. LOVE IT!
We use Netflix, and then augment with Redbox. Seems a bit silly on paper, but occasionally there are those nights where you just want some random new release movie, and we're either in between Netflix discs or just not in the mood for the one currently in the house.
If you sign up for their texts, Redbox will send you a code for a free one night rental every Monday.
I love netflix- we have a one at a time plan and its about $8-9 a month. we average about a movie a week. We switch off with 1 movie for dd then the next week a movie for us. The things I like most about netflix 1. no late fees 2. it comes and goes from my mailbox so no travel time 3. being able to set up a queu of movies we want 4. great selection of documentaries (my favorite) and ...
I have the cheapest plan through netflix that allows unlimited online streaming. We watch it on our tv through our PS3 (or Xbox 360 if you have that and the live thing). We also watch Hulu for shows that are out now. We don't have cable, so this works great for us.
We do the same as BundlesT - have Netflix and supplement with Redbox. We watch a lot of TV series via Netflix (Sopranos, The Wire, etc).
I think the shipping cost of books prevents a good book service. The library is really it for cheap/free books.
