Saw 'Walk the Line' recently and loved it. Some very strong acting, in fact I actually forgot I was watching a film! 10/10
Saw 'Brokeback Mountain' the other night, and thought it was ok. Touching and all that, and some lovely scenery, but I was expecting to like it more. Oh, and there's some scenes of rodeos and people being pretty rough with sheep and horses 6/10
Saw 'Ocean's...

'Sicko' - brilliant, must-see.
I haven't seen anything watchable by Michael Moore yet - is this one significantly better? _________________ andyO wrote:

Ha ha. Poor Michael Moore. "You're fat, go vegetarian!" It'd be cool if it worked, but I think that being too blunt like that could upset some people. I've liked most of his stuff that I have seen. It'd be interesting if Peta could get someone like him onside for a film exposing the treatment of animals in the farming industry. _________________ Bite off more than you can chew, then chew it. ...

Saw 'Fantastic Mr Fox' last night. The first half was fantastic, but it went off the boil a bit towards the end. I liked the humour in it, such as the badger solicitor's office featuring a big oil painting of a Victorian-style battle scene - but all badgers!
Fists of Fury Went to visit the oldfolks and thought I'd spice up the boring family meetup by making them watch a Bruce Lee film. In the big picture it was fun for the whole family but in reality this film is much, much less interesting than it was when I was much, much younger Way too little fighting and too much yakking. This film should've been about Bruce Lee kicking ass from start to finish, and make it last 40 mins, so...

^ some people i know saw that one and said it was HOT! I watched 'synecdoche, ny' on the weekend, andy kaufman's latest (i think his latest) It was great! talk about weird dreamy movies that are like being on drugs or asleep or something. Maybe a bit long, but if you like the misery of life interwoven with the deeper misery of existence, then this movie is for you. _________________ "an eye for an eye and we all lose...

"Lesbian Vampire Killers" Trashy Vampire comedy. +Lesbian Vampires +Comedy moments -Lovestory Lesbian Vampires, what more to say... Honestly, its a good movie. Nothing special but entertaining and nicely made retro style.
