Thread: mmr vaccine reaction/unwell

my lo had his mmr yesterday and was warned it would make him off colour as his body reacts to the vaccine and that this shows it is working well. today he is grumpy, tired and feels hot but temp normal. doesnt help that he has 2 teeth coming through as well but was wondering what kind of reaction your lo had to this vaccine and did you need to do anything other than calpol and cuddles. ( please dont turn this into a should/shouldnt mmr debate)...

Deborah i would go with the calpol. BOth mine were ok after it but i had friends children who were grumpy, clingy and had a slightly higher temperature too. I could also be the new teeth coming in thats doing it too. HOpe your lo feeling better soon
