Thread: micro scratches on inside of door

Started 4 months, 1 week ago by Mina
Hi, everyone, I'm new to the site and have a question about some small micro scratches that are starting to form right where the door sits on the body of the car near the wheel wells. Any suggestions on how to cover them, why they form, how to keep them from forming? They almost looks like the door is scratching the body. Could it be that the door hinge isn't strong enough to keep the door ...

Pics would be needed since this is so vague. But I do know that there will be scratches just from dragging feet getting into the car. At least in the middle of the door. Hence the pics request....

Dragging your feet in? Tell me it's not so!!! Yeah pictures would be good.

My '06 did that too. It is like the clearance is too tight or that the hinges sag a little under stress of body roll...when sitting still the door is properly aligned. I did nothing bout them before I traded the car. Just made sure there was no dirt on the door or the sill to reduce the chances of more scratches.
