Holding up well, some cuts and chunks missing here and there. ...

After 7000 miles I was about 1/3 through the tire. I had two sidewall rips on one tire and a cut on another from one easy run in Big Bear. I replaced two off the Maxxis Bighorns for BFG KM2's. The sidewalls are about twice as thick as my bighorns. My opinion on the Maxxis Bighorn-Good in snow but decent in wet conditions. Great for traction on rock but didn't last too long for me. The compound seemed a little soft and would chunk....
Got a buddy with a 3/4 ton ford 4x4 that pulls a landscaping trailer and uses these, he got 35,000 out of them before he bought another set. We have a Maxxis wholesaler here in Richmond and I can get a set of 265/75-16s for $480 over the counter, cash and carry. My other buddy at the car dealership will mount and balance them for me. A great deal from what I have heard. I don't get out wheeling too often, so they will be on a second set...
My son put a set of 32" Big Horns on his 91 Toyota 4x4 pickup and they are great. He had the center section sipped to help with snow and ice. They are fantastic in the snow and have preformed better than the Cooper's that he had. I have a set of Toyo M/T's on my 08 Taco and the big horns are quieter which really surprised me. The guys mounting them said that they like them better than the Toyo's, that they have them on...
