x-post: My dishwasher kicked the bucket last week and I've been handwashing since, but my glass is d cloudy..any tips on preventing this? I tried adding vinegar to my hot rinse water, but it didn't change anything.. Any tips appreciated! x-posted from Home and Garden Board

I have no dishwasher but, don't have this prob. what soap are you using to wash them? rop did you have this problem w/your dishwasher too? (if not, then it's probably not the water)

Hm, I hand wash and I don't have this problem. I use Ecover liquid and make sure to rinse really + well and then dry really well, and no cloudiness here. Maybe try rinsing more and if that doesn't work, switch soaps. Ecover is nice and Mrs. Meyers is supposed to be pretty awesome too.

I'm using VIP biodegradable, ro for link http://www.vipsoap.com/ I've been using it for years without a problem on my pots and pans, but I've been putting glass in the dishwasher.. Hmm.. I haven't been polishing with a tea towel though, so I will try that.

never tried this one so I can't compare..but, maybe it's just not rinsing as clean as you think...ro how'd the tea towel work?
