Here at 024 we just put a bunch of new guys on the dock, some PT, some FT and I'm pretty sure we hired a few P&D and Linehaul guys not too long ago. Guess we'll see about "work reductions" when they happen. Lots of changes have been happening here at 024, and for the most part actually seem to be working. Freight remains relatively steady, even heavy at times....

Sorry to hear about what happened buzz. I'll probably be added to the unemployement list next week when we get our shalacking in the southeast. Kinda looking forward to it.

There is no respect, no loyality, no nothing from Rob and Jr towards their drivers.. Congradulations, it's confirmed, your just a number. They flat out don't care how long you've been here.. period. I've been preaching that drivers need to stand up and use company time for everything. Perhaps that would solve some issues long term even if it don't help all of us now.

At least you should be safe as a utility (job wise). Extra board seems to have the targets on their backs. Gonna be a long cold winter on that dock. Hang in there Workhorse.
Sorry to hear that man, guess we needed to take those Utility runs when they came up, or a hub run when we had the chance. But hey when I had that opportunity I had a Linehaul run, which was making me pretty good change, and I would have never expected these layoffs to go down like they did. My guess is all the years the Old Man took care of his linehaul guys and probably Rob heard about it alot, Rob probably thought another way about it.

We still have some, but you can tell its starting to fall off.

It might just keep ya working all winter.
