I gotta sell the RF. money is tight and work is slow. I gotta have something to help me make through untill a go to baasic. It's a 96 RF 900. runs great. just had carb cleaned. needs a little bit of stuff i haven't been able to afford to get like tires, paint, etc. second gear is starting to go. fork seals need to be replaced(i have the new fork seals though). i'm really not sure what...

What do you need to get it ridable? I found the other axle and cush drive for it, fork seals aren't that hard to change... go talk to rick at Cycle and Ski, see if he has any old take-offs you can snag. I just put my last takeoff on the F3 the other night. Shit, if money wasn't so tight over here, I'd buy it back. I love that bike. I thought you were shipping out in October?

i ship in january but i got stundent loan payments coming up before then and i'm only pullin in about 100-200 a week right now. i know the fork seals aint too bad but i need a driver. i need oil(got a filter already). i really wanna keep it and i will if i don't get a decent offer for it but i'm really scraping for cash right now and i can't even afford to spend the money for the oil right now.

I feel your pain, man. 2500's been parked for two weeks because of magic transmission oil and a rear seal i need to replace on the trans.

Yeah, the NV4500 has a bunch of weird metal and carbon fiber compounds inside the transmission. According to the trans, it requires Castrol Syntorq LT - which is about $130 a gallon. Amsoil claims that MTG is good enough for it, but I'm not sure I trust that snake oil. Royal purple makes a manual gear lube that is comparable to Syntorq LT and approved for use in the NV4500, it's only $20.00 a ...

holy hell! If i ever get another deisel it's gonna be a powerstroke. i wish i would have done some research on the 6.5l before i got it. i would have found out about all the problems they have(like pmd's and ops's going out left and right). thats what i get for being young, dumb and having a pocket full of cash!

Ehh, it's alright. I actually like the truck, you just have to keep a PMD in the glove box.

holy hell!
