Thread: ipod won't transfer movies

Hi all, My new beautiful ipod won't let me transfer movies I purchased from iTunes. It's strange, songs and music videos transferred just fine, but not movies. I can click and drag the files onto the ipod movies folder, but nothing happens... Miguel V. HP Windows 7 1.8 GHz Quad Core 64...

Hello there, Do you have your iPod set up to manually manage your music and videos or do you sync it automatically? If you are syncing them automatically, do you have your iPod set up to sync movies? I'm assuming your manually managing your iPod's contents, due to the fact that you are dragging the movies to your iPod in iTunes. What format are the videos you are trying to sync...

Hi B-rock, Thanks for the help, it turned out that what happened was that I had to enable this machine to play the movies; I think it had something to do with copyright (they were itunes flicks)... But in any case, they work now! Thanks, Miguel V. HP Windows 7 1.8 GHz Quad Core 64...

I'm having a similar problem. My ipod will transfer some movies, but not all. One of which used to be on my ipod, but somehow got booted the last time I synced my ipod with my computer. I have it set to automatically sync, but even trying to drag it manually it didn't work. Mac Mini...
