Thread: iphone no longer shows up on itunes

New I phone 3gs initially worked when imac was using OS 10.4.1.1 and worked on mac books running 10.5.8. I updated the Imac to 10.5.8 and now the Iphone is not recognized by the itunes, instead when the iphone is plugged in, the computer thinks that it is a phone and syncs it to iphoto and tries to download photos. Tried restarted computer and iphone, no change. My wife's iphone was...

The iphone is supposed to be recognized as a camera. Have you tried re-installing itunes on top of the current itunes - do not un-install itunes first? powerbook g4, iMac 20 Mac OS X (10.6.1)...
