hi, my name is molly and i am 21, with no kids. and i recently found out that i have endometrial cancer. my doc says i need a hysterectomy and i think i am going to go with a vaginal hyst. but i have some questions because my doctor asked me if i want to keep my ovarys or put at least one on ice so as to keep eggs, also she asked if i want to keep my cervix. i ...

My sister had endometrial cancer and had a TAH this was five years ago and is doing great! My thoughts are with you and best of luck!!

Sorry you are having to go through this at such a young age but you sound like you are doing well considering this situation and using the resources available to you to make good decisions for yourself. I had a TAH and I'm happy I didn't keep my cervix. In my opinion only I would have my cervix removed because there is cancer involved here. Might as well get rid of it, ...

Hi Molly You certainly have been given a lot of decisions to make Have you consulted with a gynecologic oncologist? This is a doctor who specializes in gynecological cancers. Because of this area of expertise, this is the best kind of doctor to have when you're dealing with endometrial cancer. Or, you can ask your doctor if s/he will have a gyn onc ...
