Yeah, a game that we haven't even played through once will without a doubt have a lot of replayability. As for fan mods - engine tweaks aside (e.g. ones that make the AI better, fix bugs, or balance the entire game out better) - they're usually pretty crappy. Item mods are usually extremely broken (the SUPER DUPER SWORD OF DOOM THAT KILLS EVERYTHING IN ONE HIT!1111) or if it's a fan-made quest ...
I like this system they're using with the free DLC. I almost always buy my games new anyway, andthis is a really clever and awesome system for rewarding players who buy their games new, which means the player wins, the company wins, everybody wins. Of course those who choose to buy used can do so and still get a really awesome game, but those who buy new get an even more awesome game. Hopefully ...
It's called PR. No company is going to just come out and say that they choose to go a way that would be beneficial to them rather then to their clientele. That's just marketing 101, and say what you wil about EA but they got some cleaver & sneaky people working in their marketing department and with all the negative press they've received on the PC gaming front these past months they've picked ...
mako_eyes: "What?! You mean if I don't call now I can't get that second microfiber tissue absolutely free? Blackmail!" Oh, and you'd better check the definition of blackmail. Last I checked, "Buy now and get an extra item ABSOLUTELY FREE" is not blackmail. If anything, it's the complete opposite. Of course there's marketing. It was removed from the game very early on, so it basically ...
I think i played buldar's gate 2 on PS2, I believe It had a champions of norrath feel to it? Either way I will probably get this game, looks pretty amazing
Hmm. You might be able to run it on fairly low settings, but I'm not sure about that video card at all. As long as you have the space everything else is fine for moderately low settings, but yeah, not so sure about that card. If I had to choose I'd say you'd probably be able to run it alright at low settings, but that's no sure thing.
I'm stupidly excited for this game. I don't want it to be hyped up any more than I have in my own mind. All I know is that Bioware hasn't let me down yet.
From: Agent Aegis | #175 Guess I'm bi. I enjoy both WRPGs and JRPGs. I like the depth and openness (or what passes for it) of WRPGs and the flash and style of JRPGs. I'm not a fan of man-child heroes and many other JRPG cliches though. Same here. From: zintarr | #174 I love JRPGs but I must say Ihave reached my limit with the girly looking, girly acting men. At least FF13 took a step in the right direction with a manly-looking woman.
From: Super Shadowman | #004 ^No, and no. The dex hotfix make most encounters a nightmare since the abundance of bowmen tear you to shreds, and in order to get captivating song you need to get 2 useless skills... Song of Valor is the best, which is the one you star with and you can only have one activated at a time. Get a mod for it (I.E Cheat), wait for Zevran or try using the bow for once. It actually has a few decent skills, and distance +...
I must be missing the part where you list the set boni for equipping similar Large and Small crystals. I'm just seeing the boni for the individual crystals there, which you would get without pairing them. He's asking about the set bonus you'd get from equipping, say, a Large Ice Crystal and a Small Ice Crystal. You know how, like, equipping a full set of Chainmail gives you a set bonus? Like that.
GIGANTIC SPOILERS (no seriously it's a joke but it has spoilers) Sandal is Morrigan's child with the soul of an Old God. The Old God is somewhat corrupted after being in the Archdemon for so long, hence the apparent autism. It also has shapeshifting powers, so no matter what race the child was born as, Sandal has mimicked the race of his "father." Morrigan sent him back in time to help herself in the past. Also, if...
