how long to wait I bought a package from hyenacart and it was a little slow in getting shipped (which was fine because I wasn't in a hurry). When the wahm emailed me to tell me she had shipped it she said she as sorry it took extra time, but the whole family had influenza A. So being the germaphobe I am, I got the box out of the mailbox,...

Re: how long to wait It is most likely fine. Most viruses cannot live on surfaces outside of the body for more than 2 days. If it is a hard surface object you can always use a bleach solution or Lysol on it. Most daycares/preschools use both of those to disinfect toys/things, so they shouldn't be harmful to your child....

Re: how long to wait It's probably safe by now, but IMHO I would not want something hand made by someone who is sick. I've been sick several times this past year, just little colds, nothing really bad. But I always shut down my store whenever myself or my little one gets sick. It's just good manufacturing practices....
