Thread: hood scoop

I was thinking of the Roush hood scoop for my 06 GT Conv. Reason being is you can get it painted with the stock (mine is Legend Lime) color. Has anyone done this and obviously they are painted @ different times so how would they match up? One note: I have the black stripes running up the center of the car, so I think it might camouflage any difference in any ...

well, i haven't done this, but i have considered it, i just decided against it. as for paint matching, i think you would be fine, i had my quarter louvers painted well after the car was built, and they match perfect. as long as they get the correct color code, you will be fine there. as for stripes, you would want to add the stripes to the hood scoop in my opinion. it ...

I purchased the pre-painted one and it matched almost 100%. The difference is barely noticeable.
