Thread: help finding a mod chip

i have a ps2 scph-79001. I was wondering if anybody knows if there is a mod chip that works with this ps2 ? and if there is what is the name of it. I already have swapmagic i'm just sick of swaping disks.

You might want to try the memory card exploit called freemcboot. It allows you to boot backups without swapping although the game .isos have to be patched before you burn them. Check out sksapps.com for more info on that if you're interested. Otherwise there are plenty of chips out there. I think the cheapest is the duo3 ultra which can be found for about 20 bucks. You might want to try the memory card exploit called freemcboot. It allows you to boot backups without swapping although the game .isos have to be patched before you burn them. The most expensive is the crystal chip pro which is about 50 to 60 bucks.
