Took this floor up last week, it had been down since march.the tiles either
side of the tuff2 deck were'nt properly bonded, and the white area is some
sort of mould or soap residue i think. It had 3 layers of membrain, this
was done to level the floor i was told, but have it on good authority this
was ok. i retiled it with waxman 25mmx25mm mosaics

True tony, but cleaning adhesive off the deck was a pain in the butt, had to use my fein to grind it off carefully, also the origional tiler had'nt even roughed the deck up. Thanks again for your prompt service, and help with this job

Ha what a recomendation for our Tuff2 wetroom tray.......Its the BOSS !!!
..
Was called out to look at a failed walk-in shower earlier this year...the
joists, noggins, plywood had not been done correctly so there was too much
movement for tray and tiles to cope with..tiler had also failed to prime
the floor and walls, had used tubbed adhesive to stick tanking kit and
600x300 tiles to walls so everything was falling apart...company went under
not long after...

The pictures posted by Poynton Phil are of my Wetroom. If there is one thing I have learned since finding out I had a problem with my wetroom, it is not to waste money trying to patch things up. It has been a very expensive lesson! I am very grateful to the forum community for their help, in particular Dave and Wetdecs, and especialy Phil, for his dedication and the perfectionism that he applies to his tiling.
