You should've asked your orthodontist.

you need an antibacterial mouthwash, you can get on from any supermarket/chemist..also brush twice a day and floss.. see an oral hygienist if needed and they will clean your mouth for you.

i have been cleaning and such. I also asked my ortho dummy why wouldnt i? all they said was warm salt water but it has not been working. What antibiotics?
